Sensitivity
The Prime 95B back-illuminated sCMOS camera offers up to 95% quantum efficiency, optimizing light collection for high sensitivity.
With its backside illumination design, photons are directed to the light-sensitive surface of the sensor without obstruction. Combined with 11 µm pixels, this technology provides high sensitivity alongside stable performance, fast speeds, and reduced maintenance requirements compared to EMCCD cameras.
Multiple Fields of View
The Prime 95B is offered with an 18.8, 22 or 25 mm diagonal field of view. The larger format sensors are designed to increase throughput, maximize data capture and take full advantage of new, larger field of view microscopes.
Advanced Features
The Prime 95B includes two data reduction technologies; PrimeLocate and Multi-ROI.
PrimeLocate can also be enhanced to offer Live Particle Tracking on the camera, enabling real-time observation of molecular movement and providing valuable insights for single-molecule tracking applications..
PrimeEnhance active denoising provides a real-time quantitative increase in signal to noise ratio by reducing the effects of photon shot noise at low light levels.
Advanced Triggering
This camera features Sequenced Multiple Acquisition Real Time (SMART) Streaming which allows it to continuously capture images while cycling through 16 pre-set exposure times, enabling rapid multi-channel acquisition.
Additionally, the Prime 95B supports up to four expose-out signals and has the capability for an effective global shutter.
