Extreme low SWaP Thermal Camera Module

The MicroCube640™ VGA  thermal camera module boasts a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels with a 12 µm pitch. The high-definition sensor consists of an uncooled microbolometer array developed by Lynred. With its extreme low profile of only 22 x 22 mm2 (x,y), weight 22g and power consumption under 1.5W, this small thermal camera is designed for easy integration into sub-systems. Available with UVC, MIPI and DF40 interfaces, the MicroCube is the perfect plug-and-play solution for embedded systems. The camera outputs ready-to-use images thanks to its onboard image processing pipeline as described below:

The MicroCube640™ comes with a shutterless function and a ‘time to image’ under 3 seconds from power up. The 12 µm pixel size of this small thermal camera module offers unmatched image quality with an NETD < 40mK.

The MicroCube640™ is a dual-use (non-ITAR) thermal camera module with a frame rate up to 60 Hz.
