Lambda Beam CW Laser: A Compact, High-Performance Modulatable Laser

The Lambda Beam CW laser is a high performance, modulatable laser source with a compact footprint. This German-made laser guarantees universal capabilities in almost all applications, with output powers up to 1000 mW. The Lamba Beam is characterized by its high durability and excellent beam quality. These features, combined with various options for system integration guarantee the highest flexibility in industrial, scientific, and medical applications.

Laser Control Options

The Lambda Beam laser head requires a laser controller to provide power and control all operating parameters. For scientific applications and prototyping we recommend using the Power Controller. For industrial integration we also offer the highly compact Powerbox to be directly attached to the laser head or connected via a customized cable (the 532 nm DPSS laser is only available with the PowerBox).

CW laser controller

The Power Controller includes three status indicators, a USB interface, a modulation mode switch, and a key switch with a time delay. The back side holds connectors for the laser head, modulation input, and power supply. The Powerbox laser controller attaches directly to the laser head using a connector with locking mechanism. The back side holds a six-pin screw terminal block, a USB port, and two coaxial modulation inputs.

Lambda Beam Wavelock: Highly Stabilized CW Laser for Raman Spectroscopy and High-Resolution Applications

The Wavelock option of the Lambda Beam CW lasers provides an exceptionally stable single mode emission with a wavelength stability <0.015 nm and a spectral linewidth as small as <0.05pm, and is only available for wavelengths of 405 nm, 633 nm, 638 nm, 640 nm, 658 nm, 685 nm, 785 nm, 808 nm, and 852 nm.

The Lambda Beam Wavelock can also be equipped with either a Power Controller or the PowerBox, as well as other Lambda Beam accessories such as a shutter, cooling elements, and a fiber coupler.

Convenient Optional Fiber Coupling

Each Lambda beam laser system can optionally be equipped with a fiber coupler. The fiber coupler couples the collimated laser beam output into a single mode polarization-maintaining optical fiber, or it can also be used with non-polarization-maintaining and multi mode fibers. In order to get the best coupling efficiency, which requires micrometer precision, the fiber coupler is equipped with multiple positioning screws to center the laser beam into the fiber, as well as to adjust the focal point to the fiber surface.
