LWIR Thermal Cameras & Cores
LWIR cameras (long-wave infrared cameras) are able to image light in the 8 to 14 µm spectral range. Commonly called “thermal cameras” or “thermal IR cameras,” LWIR cameras are able to image the heat emitted by objects themselves and, therefore, can provide temperature information when calibrated for a given range.
Axiom Optics offers low SWaP thermal cameras in VGA and SXGA resolutions that are based on uncooled 12µm-pitch microbolometer sensors.
Formats available: VGA (640 x 480 px) and SXGA (1280 x 1024 px)
Interfaces available: USB3, UVC, MIPI CSI-2, CameraLink, HD/3G-SDK, DF40
