Chromacity 520: An Ultrashort Pulse Laser With High-Power in the Green
The Chromacity 520 is a compact, air-cooled Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) ultrashort pulse laser module designed for use with the Chromacity 1040 high-power femtosecond laser. Delivering exceptional performance, the 520 module, when paired with the 1040 high-power option, offers high average power, superior pulse quality, and excellent power stability. It is an ideal laser source for applications such as semiconductor metrology, quantum communications, quantum imaging, and fluorescence lifetime measurements.
Engineered for precision and reliability, the Chromacity 520 ultrashort pulse laser provides ultra-stable output across variations in temperature and time, ensuring consistent power and pulse quality over extended operation periods.
The SHG module can be purchased as part of a complete system with the Chromacity 1040 or added later as an upgrade. Featuring a dedicated external power supply unit (PSU), the 520 module offers flexible placement options to suit diverse experimental setups.
The Chromacity 520 SHG module operates as a slave of the 1040 laser, and can be bolted onto the 1040, or co-located on a bread board (as shown above). Control of the 520 is via the 1040 intuitive web browser user interface, or via an RS-232 serial port.
