The Focus-Beam-Profiler HP-FBP-fix is a compact tool to measure the focused laser beam (typically on high-power lasers for 3D printing machines such as SLM, EOS, 3D Systems etc). Its operational robustness and reliability ensures continuous use applications especially in industrial applications. The whole measuring process is controlled by CINOGY ́s software RayCi.

The FBP-1KF/2KF works with a fixed measurement position and is characterized by compact design. The optic design allows broadband use from 340nm-1150nm and covers all main wavelengths in material processing.

The software delivers full caustic information including M2 value, waist size, absolute waist position etc.

Each unit is calibrated to deliver absolute waist position z0 with 50µm accuracy.

Alike BeamWatch from Ophir, the Focus Beam Profiler by Cinogy is a fully automated laser measurement system designed to integrate the measurement of critical laser beam parameters on industrial production lines. Based on BeamWatch’s patented, non-contact profiling principle, BeamWatch Integrated offers contactless and simultaneous measurement of all critical laser beam parameters in real time such as:

  • Measures all the critical laser beam parameters of the focused beam up to 1kW  power . Measured laser parameters include:
    • Waist (focus spot) width and absolute location
    • Focal shift
    • Centroid
    • M2 or K
    • Divergence
    • Beam parameter product
    • Rayleigh length
